Unconventional Ro/Ro
Through the utilisation of her extension ramps the Terra Marique has the ability to remove the need for extensive civil work at the place of loading / off-loading.
The extension ramps can be deployed where the immediate quay strength is of insufficient load bearing capacity. By using the ramps, the load is transferred away from the weaker quay edge, which is common at riverside locations.
